On the afternoon of June 2, 2024, local time, a delegation of three police officers from Busia and Tororo regions in Uganda, led by Mr. Fred, arrived Wagagai Mining for a friendly visit. Mr. Tan Jiuchang, the General Manager of China Liaoning Hongda Enterprise Group, led Jiang Genshui, the Executive Vice Director of the Wagagai project, Ma Jianjun, the General Assistant of the project, and He Peng, the Director of External Relations, warmly received the guests.

During this period, General Manager Mr. Tan gave a detailed introduction to the current construction status and future development of the Wagagai project, gave high praise to the investment environment and regional security situation of Uganda, and invited guests to watch a documentary on the construction status of the Wagagai project and taste Chinese food.

Mr. Fred expressed great gratitude to China Liaoning Hongda Enterprise Group for coming to Uganda for investment and construction. This has created many job opportunities in Uganda, solved the employment problem of local people, and also driven the economic development of the Busia region and even Uganda. It has also brought the mining level of Uganda to a new height.

Subsequently, Mr. Fred and his team, accompanied by Mr. Jiang, visited the construction of the ramp and main shaft of the Wagagai project on site.
