In April, the land of Africa has a clear sky and favorable weather, and everywhere is full of vitality. On April 8, 2025, local time, Wagagai Mining (U) Limited ushered in another major historic moment in its production and construction - the comprehensive completion of the smelting system of the Wagagai project, and a grand celebration ceremony was held.

On that day, more than 50 guests including the Resident Commissioner (RDC) of the Ugandan President's Office in Busia, the District Security Officer (DISO), the Chairman of the District Council (LC5), the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the District Police Chief (DPC), the Criminal Investigation Officer in Charge (OCCID), the Prime Minister of Bugwe Kingdom, the County Chief of Butemba, the religious leaders of the Mawero Diocese and the municipal team were invited to attend the completion ceremony.

During the visit, accompanied by Mr. Tan of the Group, the guests visited the vertical mill workshop, the cyanidation workshop and the entire smelting system, and observed and understood the functions, production capacity and equipment performance of each production line.

After the visit, the guests had a discussion with Mr. Tan, project leaders Mr. Liu and Mr. Jiang, as well as the leaders of the external affairs department Ms. Wang Ying and Mr. Wang Guochao. On behalf of the Group, Mr. Tan expressed his gratitude to the guests for their continuous support for the Wagagai project, and introduced the development history, scale, current situation, production capacity and future planning of Wagagai Company.

Representatives of the guests spoke one after another, expressing their gratitude for being invited to the ceremony and the warm reception of Wagagai Company. They congratulated the company on its major achievements, wished the company's business to continue to develop, and looked forward to making greater contributions to local infrastructure construction, employment training and other aspects in the future.

Mr. Tan said that although Wagagai Company has achieved certain results, it still faces many difficulties. However, we have the confidence, determination, ability and strength to overcome all difficulties, and build Wagagai Company into the largest gold production base in Uganda as soon as possible, and continuously make contributions to improving people's livelihood in the local area and the economic development of Uganda.

The comprehensive completion of the smelting system of the Wagagai project marks that the production and construction of Wagagai Mining (U) Limited has officially entered the stage of reaching production capacity and generating revenue.
