Local time on August 12, 2025, Wagagai donated 8 National water access points across four Villages in Busia District.
Each of the four Villages got 2 water access points i.e. Alupe, Amagoro, Akipenet and Agoriat.
On the same day, Wagagai Company held a donation and opening water supply ceremony in its territory.
The ceremony was officiated by the GM of Wagagai Mr. Tan, the LC V Mr.Wasike Stephen, the RDC Madam Namagogwe Hajjira, the DISO Mr. Kalo Grace Geofrey, the CAO represented by Mr. Kaira Muhamud, the District Water Engineer Mr.Wandera Geofrey Nathan and other local leaders.
The main purpose of the water points is to enable the community access clean and safe drinking water for a sustainable future and improve the well-being of the residents of the community.
