On the afternoon of April 5, 2022 local time, more than 20 people, including Ms. Evelyn Annette, Minister of Finance of Uganda, leaders of the Investment Bureau and media reporters, visited Wagagai Mining (U) Limited. Tan Jiuchang, general manager of Hongda Enterprise Group, Liu Hui, general manager of the Busia project and other leaders warmly received and accompanied the visit.

First of all, the Minister and her party listened to Mr. Tan's general introduction about the group and Wagagai Mining (U) Limited in the VIP room. The Minister highly recognized the group's comprehensive strength and extended warm congratulations to the group's investment in Uganda and the successful construction of Wagagai Mining.

Then, under the leadership of Mr. Tan, the Minister and her party listened to the introduction of gold mine production technology and visited drilling platform, core warehouse, ramp and other places.

The Minister and her party showed strong curiosity about Wagagai's high-end exploration and production equipment and on-site production process, and were especially surprised that they could enter the spacious underground tunnel by car, and they sincerely praised the company's modernization level and achievements.

During the visit, media reporters accompanied them to interview. Ms. Evelyn, Minister of Finance of Uganda, said that Wagagai Mining has a large investment in Uganda, which can promote employment and improve people's living standards, which is very important to the development of Uganda. Ms. Evelyn emphasized that Uganda has large gold reserves and large-scale mining capacity. Wagagai Mining is the best example. In the interview, she showed core samples and introduced the grade and the company's annual output. Mr. Tan introduced the group's planning and return on Uganda.

After the visit, Minister Ms. Evelyn said that the visit was worthwhile, because seeing is believing. They saw the real investment and construction of Wagagai company, professional equipment and personnel, and the great potential of Wagagai company. Ms. Evelyn emphasized that companies like Wagagai are companies that Uganda should give priority to support. In the future, she will not only come by herself, but also invite the President to visit in person. The Ministry of Finance will continue to give the greatest support to Wagagai company.
