On the afternoon of April 22, 2022 local time, Ugandan Defense Minister Sempija, National Defense Forces Training and Recruitment Director Gureme and other leaders visited Wagagai Mining Company for inspection and guidance. Liu Hui, general manager of Wagagai, Liu Liang, deputy general manager of outreach, and other leaders warmly received and accompanied for explanation.

During the visit, the Defense Minister and his delegation watched the overview film of the Hongda Group and Wagagai Mining Company carefully, and highly appreciated the mining experience and strength of the Group.

During the visit, the Minister and his delegation highly praised Wagagai's advanced equipment, facilities and production technology. Mr. Sempija was very happy that the Group could invest in Uganda.

During the exchanges between the two sides, the Minister and his delegation elaborated on the geographical location, transportation, trade, mining and other current situations of Uganda, and said that the Ugandan army and government will strongly support the investment and development of the Group Company in Uganda. General manager Liu Hui conveyed the warm greetings of general manager Mr. Tan of Honda Group to the Minister and his delegation, and put forward the request to assist Wagagai company to strengthen the security force. The Minister said that Wagagai company could apply to the Ministry of National Defense through formal letter, and the Minister and his delegation would try their best to promote it at that time.
