n the afternoon of August 6, local time, General Joseph Balikuddembe, commander of the Uganda People's Defense Forces, and his delegation visited the Busia Gold Mine. Group General Manager Mr. Tan, together with leaders of Wagagai Mining and relevant personnel, warmly received them. The two sides had a constructive discussion on the security of the gold mine project.

During this period, General Joseph and his delegation visited the current construction situation of the Busia Gold Mine. Mr. Tan gave a detailed explanation on the project overview, overall planning, equipment and facilities, production procedures, scale benefits, etc. General Joseph and his delegation highly valued the security of the gold mine and said that they would continue to assist the security work of Wagagai Mining. At the same time, the two sides will carry out close cooperation. Wagagai Mining will provide UPDF with the opportunity to visit the laboratory and promote the study and exchange of mining and related knowledge in Uganda.
