Mr. Tan led the leaders of Wagagai Mining to warmly welcome the guests

On August 19, 2022, local time, a delegation of more than 20 people, including Mr. Abel Kagumire, the Ag. Commissioner General URA, Dr. Geoffrey Okaka, the Ag. Commissioner Customs, made a special trip to visit the Gold Mine project of Wagagai Mining (U) Limited. Mr. Tan Jiuchang, General Manager of the Group, Ms. Zhang Xuefei,Vice General Manager of the Group and Mr. Liu Hui, General Manager of Wagagai Mining, and relevant responsible persons received the guests warmly.

Mr. Tan introduced the Group profile and the Gold Mine situation to the guests

First of all, Mr. Tan and his assistant made a detailed introduction to the guests on the Group profile, the overall planning, construction status, equipment technology, process flow and productivity benefits of the Busia Gold Mine project, focusing on the objective comparison and scientific analysis of the mining technology level and current status of China and Uganda.

Subsequently, accompanied by General Manager Mr. Tan, the guests visited the bonded warehouse, core warehouse, laboratory, main shaft work area, ramp work area and other Gold Mine facilities. The guests praised the construction scale of the Gold Mine.

In the leadership speech, Mr. Tan pointed out that the comprehensive construction of Busia Gold Mine has entered a critical period and its influence has become increasingly prominent. During this period, it has received the attention and support of leaders of Uganda's political, military, police and other departments and heads of well-known social groups, and also signed the MOU with two well-known Universities in Uganda, which were all tangible evidences of the Group's commitment to contributing to Ugandan society. It is hoped that the Uganda Taxation Bureau and Customs Department can also give favorable policies and related support to the taxation of the Gold Mine.

  Mr. Abel, AG. Commissioner General URA, highly praised the investment intensity, corporate social responsibility and the construction achievements of Busia Gold Mine, and promised to give strong support in the import and export tax of goods and assist the development and construction of Wagagai Mining in Uganda. It is worth mentioning that Mr. Abel took the lead in singing Ugandan Swahili songs on the spot, and the local employees sang in harmony. The joy was beyond words, setting off a climax of the inspection.
